Thoughts on life…Evolution

I am more than open to the idea that God used evolution to develop life on earth. I am less and less convinced about the idea of a literal 7 day creation. Genesis 1 was not written as a science text. It is most likely a poem about why it was done and not how. Francis Collins is one person who has written some great material about this.
